Penelope Roskell is an international concert pianist and professor of piano at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She is the U.K.’s foremost piano teacher specialising in pianists’ injuries, having worked in this field for over thirty years. She is the Piano Advisor for the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) where she is currently piloting a cross-disciplinary pianists’ clinic with hand surgeon Mr Mark Phillips.
Her major book on healthy piano playing will be published by Peters Edition in spring 2019. Penelope has helped innumerable pianists recover from injury.

Penelope teaches a wide range of courses, both in London and elsewhere. Courses in 2019 include a workshop for pianists with small hands, a one-day course on healthy piano technique and a summer school for pianists and piano teachers with a focus on teaching healthy piano playing.
In 2020 her extended course on teaching healthy piano technique will take place in London.
Penelope Roskell offers private lessons and consultations at her studio in Stoke Newington, northeast London.
She can give lessons via skype when face-to-face lessons are not practicable.
The fee is £70 for one hour.
The Complete Pianist
